マニラにあるフィリピン教育省は、9/13から2021年の新学期をスタートさせると発表しました。
しかしながら、まだリスクがあるのは当然のことで、オフラインの授業は先延ばしになっている状況です。ブレンド学習（オンライン学習と、モジュールによる課題提出型学習）がしばらくは続く模様です。
子供の教育の遅れが心配になるところですが、IT技術の加速やインターネット状況の向上につながることを期待したいところです。

Philippine News: Classes for SY 2021-2022 begin Sept. 13

MANILA – The Department of Education (DepEd) announced Friday that President Rodrigo Duterte has approved September 13, 2021 as the opening date for School Year 2021-2022.
In a statement, the DepEd said the date was among the options recommended by DepEd Secretary Leonor Briones.
Resumption of limited face-to-face classes in areas considered as “low-risk” is still postponed.
In a virtual press briefing, Education Secretary Leonor Briones mentioned that President Duterte only allowed blended learning in all schools for the scheduled September class opening.
“I want to clarify that the President only approved blended learning. He has not approved face-to-face,” Briones said.
Despite the challenges, Briones assured the public that classes would continue and no learner will be left behind. (PNA)
