The Philippines Government has been through a lot of efforts in persuading its citizens to be vaccinated in this COVID-19 crisis.
In fact, the different Local Government Agencies (LGU’s) in the whole Philippines, specifically, The Queen City of the South (Metro Cebu) have made “remarkable campaign efforts” to let people realize on the importance of the Covid-19 vaccination and that they wanted people to be protected as well.
In connection to their endeavor in enticing people, the government has set rules and perks or advantages for those people who are fully or partially vaccinated. Their benefits are the following:
“Only vaccinated citizens can avail of indoor dining and personal/self-care services in Cebu City”
“Cebu City’s vaccinated individuals now have an opportunity of becoming rich- as a Millionaire”
In Cebu, Philippines –whether fully or partially vaccinated people can enjoy as they can avail the benefit of indoor dining, and other self-care services like salons and spas. This is covered in the Executive Order No. 138 of the acting Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama.
In this Executive Order, vaccinated individuals can take advantage of indoor dine-in services at restaurants at 10% capacity, and at self-care services at 30% capacity.
Moreover, most restaurants are giving discounts to diners who are now vaccinated.
And the most interesting perks of all is the decision of the National Government, which has brought out a campaign entitled, “Resbakuna Bakuna Panalo Promo” to convince more people to have themselves vaccinated as they can win cash prizes.
1 million pesos (first prize, one winner)
500,000 pesos (second prize, one winner)
100,000 pesos (third prize, 10 winners) during the grand draw.
In September – December 2021, one hundred winners will be chosen through electronic raffle draw and the lucky winners will get 5,000 each.
