You know those movies that you watch over and over again that the DVD is probably scratched and skipping every other scene. Those are the ones we’re talking about. Our favorite movies. The movies we can quote every line from. The movies we watched in college. The movies that really made us stop and think.
For the days where you need a good cry, or the nights where you want an edge-of-your-seat thriller, we’re sharing our team favorites broken down by genre! Whatever you’re in the mood for, we’ve got you covered. Add these flicks to your watchlist, grab the popcorn, and settle in on the couch, because these might just suck you in like they did to us! With streaming services like Prime Video, Disney+, Hulu, and Netflix, you can find a ton of these movies to watch within a few minutes!
Watching movies was pretty different this year and I seriously can’t wait until I can go to the cinema again. Still, many new movies were released and a lot of them were good. So here are the two my favorites list.
I liked that Noelle had a modern day Christmas spin and it’s definitely a newer Christmas movie that I can watch over and over again. It reminds you what Christmas is all about; spending time with loved ones and cherishing what you have in life (even the simplest of things). Anna Kendrick as the lead actress really added to this movie and I thought she was the right actress to pull off the role. A fun twist on Christmas traditions!
I’m a fan of Gong Yoo as an actor (leading role), and I’m so glad the hype about this movie didn’t let me down. I would say that this film goes into my top 10 zombie movies because the story is much more about an outbreak of a virus. It’s more about humanity and the bond between a father and daughter. I thought the pacing was done smoothly even though things move fast. Very action packed and it had me on the edge of my seat the entire time.
A much shorter list than previous years, and it makes me want to watch more movies this next year.
