MY UNFORGETTABLE TEENAGE EXPERIENCE
In today’s world, being a teenager is not easy. There are different challenges that we have to face, decisions to make and choose the roads to take. The people and environment around us greatly affects the way we think and act as teenagers. Being a teenager before is difficult but at the same time, it is fun. We daily face new experiences with my friends before. There are several things to know about teenagers, as new era of adulthood will usher in. A teenager can express optimistic joy, but it won’t last for long. A teenager has to be careful in making tough decisions down the road. Responsibility is a huge word teenagers should cope with because down the stretch it is necessary for them to be responsible for their actions. During my High School Years, I was happy because my dream was to become a Beauty Queen.
And yes I experienced to be a contestant before not only in our school, but also in every places here in Cebu or Bohol. I also joined some barangay contests and sometimes I got the title or a 2nd place prize. But I am very happy for that because my family is always there to support me all the achievements that I obtained. The last pageant I tried was when I was in my 1st year of college because my classmates before they filled out a form for “Ms. Beauty All Over” and after that they need to drop in the box. After a month, someone called me that he said Congratulations! because you are the other one to represent your school. I tried to absent in my classes before because I need to attend the rehearsal and I was glad to my professors because they were very open-minded and always said “fighting”. We also tried to stand in Ayala Mall to endorse a product and it was very tiring. We took pictures with the candidates and shared some unforgettable experiences when we were together.
When the pageant started, I was so nervous, shy and afraid because I competed with all university candidates here in Cebu and I’m happy for that because I met some new candidate friends and they were also friendly and nice. At the time, I enjoyed all the rehearsals that we spent with the candidates. After that, our friendship continued even if we have become so busy.
Therefore, when we define beauty pageants and beauty queens, we should take the time to acknowledge that they are so much more than just the exterior facade that everyone sees. The reason they are called beauty pageants is because they help you find the “beauty”.
今日の世界では、10代の人生を過ごすのは簡単なことではありません。 直面する様々な課題に対して決定を下し、進むべき道を選択する必要があります。 私たちをとりまく周りの人々や環境は、私たちが10代として考え、行動する方法に大きく影響します。
10代の人生は大変ですが、同時に楽しいこともあります。 私たちは毎日、友達と新しい経験に直面しています。 成人を迎えるにあたり、10代で知っておくべきことがいくつかあります。10代の時期は楽観的な喜びを表現できますが、それは長くは続かないでしょう。 10代の若者は、将来の難しい決断を下す際に注意する必要があります。特に「責任」という言葉は心に留めないといけない大きな言葉です。なぜなら、彼ら自信が自分たちの行動に責任を持つ必要があるからです。
私の場合、高校時代は美人コンテストでクイーンになることが夢でした。
私は以前、当時の学校内だけでなく、セブやボホール島のあらゆる場所でコンテストにエントリーした経験があります。また、いくつかのバランガイという地域のコンテストに参加し、2位のタイトルを獲得したこともあります。
成果を得るために家族がいつもサポートしてくれたので家族には感謝しています。 私が最後に参加したミスコンテストは、大学1年生のときでした。
クラスメートは「Ms. Beauty All Over」と投票箱に投票する必要があります。
そして一ヶ月後、誰かが私に電話で「おめでとう」と言ったのです！
なぜなら学校を代表する一人に選ばれたからです。 先生はいつもオープンマインドで「頑張って！」と言ってくれたので嬉しかったです。アヤラモールという場所では他の候補者の人たちと一緒に写真を撮り忘れられない経験を共有しました。
コンテストが始まって、セブですべての大学の参加者の人たちと争ったので、とても緊張しましたし、恥ずかしがり屋の性格なのでビクビクしていました。新しい参加者の友達にも会いましがフレンドリーな人たちだったので安心しました。
その後もその人たちとはお互い忙しくても友だち関係が続いています。
したがって、私たちが美女コンテストを定義するとき、誰もが見る外側以上の意味が含まれることを認識する必要があるし、それには時間がかかるものです。なぜ美女コンテストと呼ばれるのか？それは、美女コンテストそのものが「美」を見つけるのを助けるからです。
