My Favorite Wattpad Book
I started reading wattpad stories in 2013. I read many stories that were written by famous Filipino wattpad authors. Reading is my way of relieving my stress. Two years ago, I stopped reading wattpad because of my hectic schedule. Until 2017, my close friend recommended this story. The story is titled, “I Love You since 1892”. It was not the typical story that I have read. Though it still has romance, what I love about it- tackles the historical events of the past and it sparked my interest. I Love You since 1892 was the first Filipino historical fiction that tells the adventurous tragic love story of Carmela Isabela and Juanito Alfonso. The story was all about the brat girl from the year 2016 who was sent back to the year 1892. The plot of the story was, Carmela Isabella came from the rich hierarchy of Montecarlos. After she visited her grandmother in their bloodline’s mansion, she found out that she had her Great Grandmother who looks exactly like her which is Carmelita Montercarlos. Carmelita Montecarlos was the youngest sibling of their late Great Grandmother back to the old days. According to Carmela’s grandmother Carmina, their late great grandmother died in an awful way. She drowned herself in the pond because of her miserable love affair with one of the richest persons in their town named Juanito Alfonso, because during their wedding days, he was shot by an unknown gunman. After Carmela Isabelle finds out the story of her late great grandmother, her youthful journey starts to become historically magical.
What made me realize after reading this story is that love has no boundary. No matter how hard the situation is, if you really love someone, you will fight for them no matter how much it costs. Loving someone to the point you don’t want to lose them is a real situation when destiny is against you. The story is truly a tearjerker because of shocking and breaking events.
The success of the story reached 300 million reads on wattpad and became the best-selling book in the Philippines.

この物語は、ワットパッドの中でも3億回以上の読者を獲得し、フィリピンで最も売れた本になりました。
